Split King Sheets (Dual King)

The split king bed (also known as "dual king") is the same size as a regular king bed. The only difference is that it consists of two seperate mattresses that each measure 38 x 80 inches -- instead of just one large one.

There are several benefits to having a split mattress as opposed to a traditional one-piece mattress. Split mattresses are often used when a mattress is very thick. This makes the bed a little easier transport when the time comes to move it. It also allows each person sleeping on the bed to have a different type of fitted sheet to sleep on.

If your mattress is 13 inches or under, we recommend a sheet set with 16-inch pockets. Anything above that, we recommend an extra deep 22-inch pocketed set.
