Choose The Right Length Bedskirt For Your Raised Bed!
If you have an extra high boxframe or risers under your bed, you should consider using extra long bedskirts to cover the vast amount of space you'll create under it. For a regular bed with a regular bed frame and mattress, a 14-inch long bedskirt is fine. But, for thicker platforms or beds with risers, a boxframe can be six or seven inches higher than a regular bed. In addition to the extra room under your bed, a higher bed will offer a better view out of your bedroom windows, which is often appreciated by people who spend a lof if time in bed.
If the top of your boxframe is between 19 and 22 inches from the floor, get the 18-inch long bedskirt. If your boxframe is between 22 and 25 inches from the floor, we suggest the 21-inch extra long bedskirt. If you need a bedskirt longer than that, then please drop us a line here for a request. Our 200TC and 300TC skirts are available in either ruffled/pleated or flat/tailored styles, both of which have split corners and a split down the middle of each side.
