The long staple Egyptian cotton yarns, which give the fabric renowned softness and durability, undergo a unique mercerization process. The secret of mercerizing increases the fiber strength of the fabric while giving a softer “hand” to the finish. This special treatment results in a sheet that is delicate to the touch, but still durable to bring you many years of enjoyment.
