Egyptian cotton is an extra long staple (ELS) cotton. The staple measures how long of a yarn can be pulled out of one piece of cotton. The longer the staple of the cotton, the softer the yarn. This produces a very strong, soft fabric.

I bought these for my sister in law hoping that she would really love them. I wanted a good quality set of sheets for her because I know that she never spends money on little things like that for herself. These are not exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something that was nicer than what I ended up finding. These sheets are just not as soft as what I was hoping they would be. They are just okay sheets and nothing special which was the whole reason that I was looking for sheets for her (to find something extra special). My brother was recently diagnosed with a heart condition and she has done nothing but take care of him continuously.

This sheet set is a good standard set. I can't say that there is anything wrong with them and I would not say that they are exceptional but they are nice and something that I would recommend to others for the price and quality.

These sheets were a fabulous SURPRISE for me from my husband!!! I really love them and am very happy that he purchased them for me. They are very soft and comfortable and something that everyone can comfortably sleep on. I was shocked when I saw the price because they are so reasonable.

These sheets are really nice. They are a nice quality and something that I would choose again when I am shopping. I like that they are super soft and comfortable. I also like that I am happy when I lay on them at night. With many other choices that I have purchased in the past I have not been happy when I was laying on them. They were either not soft enough, too stiff or just did not feel super comfortable like these do. I would state that anyone who is interested in good high quality sheets would like these.

This sheet set is very nice. It is super soft and comfortable and something that we like to sleep on. I do not think that I would be as comfortable on other sheets so I am glad that I chose these. I know in the past that I have not found things to be as comfortable as these are.

The resistance of this material is amazing. I have two energetic boys who jump up and down the bed all day long and pull the sheets in every direction. They look really good and I could say lovely quality.

When I saw how soft the material is, I thought that it would not last for long. It is been a month since I have it and I washed it a couple of time. It looks as good as new.

This sheet set is wonderful. They are some of the nicest sheets that I have purchased ever for the price. I have had sheets that were nicer but they were a lot more expensive. Likewise I have had sheets that were not as nice that were really about the same price. I am glad that I purchased these and would and have recommended them to others.

I like these sheets a lot. They are the first Egyptian cotton sheets that I have ever owned and I will never own anything else again. They are the softest and most comfortable thing that I have ever slept on and something that I will continue to want to sleep on in the future. I hope that I can always find them and won't have trouble because I would be sad to not have these to go to sleep on each night.

These are not my favorite sheets that I have owned. I was hoping for super soft and comfy sheets but these are just not that way. I do not think that I would have purchased these again and I do not think that I would recommend that anyone else purchase them either. I guess I am just disappointed.

These sheets are nice. I like them a lot and I would definitely choose to purchase them again. I have received compliments on them when others have stayed with us and they were on the bed that they were sleeping in. In addition I think that I would purchase more sets in the future. I also have sent everyone that has commented on them to your website because I think that they are reasonably priced for the quality.

These sheets are nice. They are not quite as nice as what I was hoping for when I ordered them. They look good on my bed and feel soft but I would have preferred that they feel softer. I am not completely unhappy with them but I do not think that this is something that I would choose to order again or something that I would tell someone else to order either.

This is a great set of sheets. I got them as a gift from my three daughters after having surgery. They knew that I would be spending a lot of time in my bed and they wanted me to be comfortable. These sheets made that possible and really did help me to feel better rested and more comfortable when I was laying in bed. I am glad that I got them and would suggest them to anyone who is looking at them for themselves or as a gift for a loved one or friend.

A set to die for. It's pretty soft to the touch probably because of the cotton component which also makes it durable and reliable. It is quite strong indeed, as proved by the many washes i've given it so far since I bought the sheets three months ago. I also liked the fact that is made locally, so I can be sure that quality is guaranteed. Plus shipment was very fast. A great deal. I'll do it again when time comes to replace this one but i hope it lasts for a long long time. By the looks of it i'm in for a real bargain. Thumbs up.

These sheets fit my odd-sized bed perfectly (an antique full size bed that was lengthened by 4 inches.) However, the cotton is very soft and started out almost nubby. I didn\'t want sheets that were coarse but these are almost too soft, no shape at all. I ordered 2 sets and noticed that one oversheet has an unfinished edge at the top (almost like seam binding), as if it were made from the last bolt of cotton. However, I did not feel like sending it back. In retrospect, I am sorry that I didn\'t order the other style that was available in the California Queen. However, I am pleased that I no longer have to struggle to get the fitted sheet on my mattress. This bed is in my guest room. I use different pillow cases (in crisp cotton) to give the impression that the entire bed is \"crisp.\"
